We are in need of a "Land Surveyor" licensed in North Carolina who would be able to get our property surveyed as soon as possible.  If they would be willing to donate donate some part or all of their services that would be even better. We need this document to begin our site plan preparation as we develop our property and buildings.  

A HUGE THANKS to the many  volunteers who have cleared most of the land that we needed. Many of the families of New Life Ind. Baptist Church of Hurdle Mills NC have donated their time, machinery and labor to clear land, remove stumps, along with other projects related to getting our horse pastures established.  

POND:

There is a small pond about 1 acre in size that was never been maintained by the previous owners.  It needs to cleared all the way around of small trees.  Many older trees have fallen into the pond due to age and ersion. The pond is currently over taken in vegetation and bogs that prevent a healthy environment for fish.  We need someone with the proper machinery that would be willing to clear the trees and dredge the pond so we can build a proper dam and overflow area.

This pond will be a huge benefit once it is finished and stocked, giving our guests a place to fish with their family. It will also be a peaceful place to just sit and watch a beautiful evening, or have a picnic lunch.  There are so many things that a healthy pond will add to our facilities here.

TRAILS:

We have done most of the trail cutting by hand but in October of 2025 Olive Hill Welding & Fabrication provided the use of machinery to accomplish the cutting of trails throughout our 27 acres.  THANK YOU for this contribution to our mission that will help Veterans and their families by providing countless hours of exploration of the many new trails.
